Even if there had been no butterflies, it would have been a beautiful, peaceful place to walk and relax. The flowering plants, the koi ponds, the sound of the waterfalls, all made Butterfly Paradise a lovely place. Add the butterflies flitting from flower to flower, or drying their wings after they've just emerged from their chrysalis, and you have a perfect place to spend a day..”

My family loved this exhibit of local butterflies, beautiful gardens, with pools of fish (you can sit on the edge of a pool while dish nibble your toes), turtles, a crocodile and a boa constrictor. This partly shaded garden offers a relaxing walk where you can enjoy nature away from the heat. The butterfly rearing house was of great interest to me. My kids (2 and 5 years old) loved seeing the stages of development of the butterflies. The staff was very kind and helpful and did what they could to help my kids enjoy learning more about nature. The entire walk is wheel chair accessible (you can not easily climb to the top of the crocodile exhibit, but you can see it from below.)
